Adorable Pet Competition - Terms and Conditions
Eligibility: The Adorable Pet Competition ("Competition") is open to all individuals who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Entrants must have legal ownership of the pet(s) featured in the submitted videos.
Entry Period: The entry period for the Competition will be communicated via official channels of the organizing entity. Entries received outside of the designated entry period will not be considered.
Submission Guidelines:
Videos must feature pets showcasing their adorable qualities.
Videos must be appropriate for all audiences.
Each submission should be short, with a maximum duration of 30 seconds and less than 15MB.
Only one entry per participant is allowed.
Ownership Rights: By submitting a video to the Competition, entrants agree to transfer ownership of the submitted video to Souris Valley Animal Shelter ("SVAS"). SVAS reserves the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the submitted videos, in whole or in part, worldwide and/or to incorporate them in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or hereafter developed, for the full term of any copyright that may exist in the submitted videos, without compensation or credit to the entrants.
Judging:
Entries will be judged based on criteria determined by SVAS before asking for voting on-line, which may include but are not limited to creativity, originality, and overall adorableness of the pet(s) featured in the video.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding in all matters related to the Competition.
Prizes: Details regarding prizes, if any, will be communicated by SVAS prior to or during the entry period.
Finalist and Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by email or other contact methods provided by the entrants. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within the specified time period or fails to comply with any other requirement as outlined in the official rules, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
Publicity: By entering the Competition, entrants agree that SVAS may use their names, likenesses, photographs, and videos for promotional purposes without further compensation or permission, except were prohibited by law.
General Conditions:
SVAS reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond SVAS's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Competition.
SVAS reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Competition or to be acting in violation of these official rules.
Release of Liability: By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to release and hold harmless SVAS and its respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising from participation in the Competition or receipt or use of any prize.
Governing Law: The Competition and these official rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
